Perez, 28, spent eight years at Barcelona's academy before joining Roma in 2020 and later moving to Celta Vigo.

Recently, he joined Greek side Aris on loan and was walking his dog in the city of Thessaloniki when the incident occurred.

The dog, which belonged to Perez, attacked his own dog, prompting Perez to intervene and get bitten in the process.

He suffered severe cuts to his genital area and was initially reported to be in a critical condition.

However, doctors later ruled out the need for surgery, and Perez has since returned home to recover.
