Villa's Academy Manager Mark Harrison praised Bloomfield, saying he is an attacking left fullback with great energy and a strong desire to make an impact on the game.

Bloomfield enjoys playing both offense and defense, and has already played for the Under-19s and Under-21s teams in the UEFA Youth League and other competitions.
