AVB also paid tribute to Jota's dedication to the club and his fans. He remembered Jota as a "silent hero" who was appreciated for his contributions both on and off the pitch. Jota was also a partner of FC Porto's Esports team, and his memory will be cherished by the club and its fans.

Regarding Jota's membership status, Villas-Boas said that he had become a member of the club in spirit, and the club intended to leave his membership card with his family. In a symbolic gesture, the club also returned André Silva's membership fees to his family.

AVB extended his condolences to Jota's teammates from Liverpool, Wolverhampton, and other clubs who lost a great friend and teammate. He called for a moment of reflection to honor Jota's memory.
