During the previous season, Fettal played in 19 matches for Almeria under the guidance of coach Rubi. He participated in 17 matches in the Segunda Division and two in the Copa. In these matches, Fettal scored one goal, which was against Eibar.
Before joining Real Madrid, Fettal represented Spain at the U17 level but is now a member of the U20 Morocco national team. He has played seven games for Morocco and scored two goals.
Initially, Fettal will be registered with Real Madrid Castilla, a team led by coach Alvaro Arbeloa. He will replace Gonzalo Garcia, who has been promoted to the senior squad.
