He has joined Al-Gharafa, a professional football club based in Qatar, on a permanent basis.
During his time at Everton, Holgate made 150 appearances and scored five goals.
Throughout his career, Holgate has also spent time on loan at other clubs, including West Bromwich Albion, Southampton, and Sheffield United.
Before representing Jamaica's national team, the Reggae Boyz, Holgate played for England's Under-20 and Under-21 teams.
He has since made seven appearances for the Reggae Boyz, showcasing his skills on the international stage.
